Calculator inputs
Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. The calculator features in this release do not send those values to an external calculation API or require an account.
Recent calculation history
If your browser supports localStorage, BQ Calculator can keep up to 10 recent calculations on the device. Each entry includes the calculator, time, a short result summary and the input values needed to reload the calculation. You can delete individual entries or clear the history.
Favorites, recent tools and scenario comparison
Favorites, recently visited calculator shortcuts and saved comparison scenarios can be stored in localStorage on this device. Comparison is limited to three scenarios per calculator. These values are not sent to a calculation server, and CSV exports are generated locally in your browser. You can remove site storage through your browser controls.
Theme preference
Your Light, Dark or System theme preference can be stored in localStorage so the interface can reuse it on future visits.
Offline cache
A first-party service worker may cache core pages and assets after they are loaded so calculators can remain useful when a network connection is unavailable. Browser settings control the local cache and site storage.
Optional Google Analytics
BQ Calculator uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Allow analytics. Until then, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. If enabled, Google may receive standard technical usage data such as page path, page title, browser/device information, referral information and approximate location. The measurement ID is G-C9M655956K.
Calculator inputs and results are not intentionally sent as analytics events. Shareable calculator URLs can contain inputs in their query string, so BQ Calculator supplies Google Analytics with an origin-and-path-only page location that excludes those query parameters.
Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser. Use Analytics settings in the footer to change it. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies after you opt in; declining analytics prevents the third-party tag from loading on subsequent page loads.
